- How do you plan to expand and improve your environmental project?
Our expansion plans include setting up a chain of environment friendly hotels and resort in India and also provide technical assistance, management to other hotels who believe that being environmentally sensitive is the best motto. We will ensure that whatever we do will be environmentally sensitive and responsible.
- If you win the award, how will you communicate your success? How will you use the prize money?
If we win the award not only would it boost the morale of our staff but also would motivate and encourage us to make more environment friendly hotels in the future. We will communicate the same through our Public Relation activities of press releases, write ups in magazines, periodicals, weeklies, through our very own "Orchid" newsletters, web site & have the same incorporated in all our promotional material.
International Hotel & Restaurant Association (IHRA) will be given equal importance and mileage in all the press releases, advertisements, in electronic media, publicity hoarding wherein The Orchid will express their gratitude towards them.
- How will you use the prize money?
We would use the money to set up a permanent exhibition centre in the city of Mumbai to train citizens, school children, other hoteliers, supplier's etc as to the various ways of inculcating environment practices in their day to day lives. This centre would primarily be dedicated to IHRA without whom it would not have been possible to see a dream turn into a reality.
