SUPPLIERS / PARTNERS MEET 2000 |

The Supplier's at The Orchid are known as well as treated as our Partners. The second event planned for Earth Day was the Partner's Meet which was held on 10th May 2000. Last year when we had the Partner's Meet for the first time, we had decided to make it an annual affair. Hence keeping with tradition we once again invited our supplier's for an evening meet. The theme for this year's Partner's Meet was the role of supplier's in reducing packaging material. The Partner's are asked to reduce packaging material by 30% this year vis a vis reducing the waste being generated by The Orchid. On behalf of The Orchid Mr. Alban Braganza Purchase Manager of The Orchid welcomed the Partner's . Mr. K. P. Kannampilly, Director and Mr. Vivek Pathiyan, General Manager of The Orchid addressed the Partner's on reducing packaging. This year as an incentive we instituted 3 Awards for our Partner's. These were awarded by Mr. Vithal Kamat, Managing Director of The Orchid, they were as follows:
