WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY 2000
This year for World No Tobacco Day (31st May 2000) we worked with Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), a non-government organisation. CPAA held free Awareness and Early Detection camps for all Tobacco Habitues. They covered over 20 corporate houses covering more than 2000 people.|
On the actual day the camp will be held at Hutatma Chowk (a prominent square in South Bombay) where they will cover 800 people. For this camp organised by CPAA, The Orchid sponsored 250 T-shirts for the Doctors and their team. We even had an Awareness and Early Detection camp at our Hotel for our Team Members which was a great success.
