matter whether you have experienced it live
or never been able to visit
Munich, the Orchid brings the spirit of Oktoberfest
onto your life
Hi
Folks,
The Oktoberfest began with the marriage
of the Crown Prince of Bavaria in 1810.Today
Oktoberfest is a two-week festival held
each year in Munich during late September and
early October. It is one of the most famous
events in the city and the world's largest fair,
with some six million people attending every
year. It is the largest beer festival in the
world with millions of litres of beer consumed,
worn and sloshed about during a sixteen-day
period-- quenching the thirst and inebriating
the spirits of millions.
There is no more appropriate setting for an
Indian version of the "Old World"
Oktoberfest than in Mostly Grills-- the
perfect setting in Mumbai for the evening where
amidst the cascading rain one can have a candle
lit dinner with kebabs from the house of the
nawabs. If it's too much of a sinful delight
then you can wash away the sins with litres
of beer.
Monsoon was derived from the Urdu word mausam
meaning 'weather'. It's a boon from the heavens
to quench the thirst of the earth. So let's
respect the true intention of Mother Nature
in sending the rains by quenching our thirst!
