The Nehru Science Center This building houses the Discovery of India Expositions and was designed by architect I M Kadri. The viewer experiences India through the ages with images reaching three dimensional replicas of major architectural and artistic works. It is situated next to the Planetarium, which is the only Astronomical Centre in Mumbai. Also within the complex are an Auditorium and Convention centre where major exhibitions and conventions are organised. Tel:4926753
Bombay Stock Exchange
Located at Fort, this is one of the oldest stock exchanges in the country, set up in 1875. It entered into a computerised trading environment in March 1995. The daily turnover is to the tune of Rs 900 - Rs 1200

Race Course
Situated at Mahalaxmi, this world class race course was built under the direction of Major J. F. Hughes. The Indian Derby is always held in February. The big races are social occasions for Mumbai's glitterati.
University Of Bombay
A study Victorian Gothic architecture at it best, it was designed by Sir Gilbert Scott. Completed in the 1870s it was funded by 'Cotton King' and banker Premchand Roychand. Apart from the University Library, the complex also houses the Rajabhai Tower.
Majestic Rajabhai Tower. The tower is 280 feet tall with five storeys and at a height of 3"feet, there are 8 statues representing the Indian castes.
