Environment Activity at The Orchid Hotel Pune

A series of environmental campaigns and events were held at the Orchid Hotel Pune. The team and staff at the hotel celebrated National Cleanliness Day on 30th January and Abolishment of Plastic. See our team in action as we try to make our hotel and the city of Pune an eco-friendly space.

National Cleanliness day -30th January- On the death Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, we conducted various cleanliness activities within The Orchid Pune premises along with the staff. where everyone understood the importance of cleanliness in the workplace. Soon enough everyone participated and made efforts to clean up the property premises enthusiastically. They also took a pledge to keep their houses & surroundings pleasant.
 

Abolishment of Plastic - As Orchid is an eco-friendly hotel in India, we never encourage plastic usage in the Pune property. As a firm resolution from January 2018, we have put a stop to the usage of packaged drinking water bottles in Boulevard with immediate effect. We are exploring more areas where similar procedures can be executed as we move forward.
